Big Bend sits right on the Colorado off Highway 128, about seven and a half miles from the junction with 191, which makes it the easy one to reach when you roll into Moab late without a plan. Sites are close to the water under the big walls, and there is a sandy beach. Facilities stop at vault toilets, fire grates, and tables, so bring water and expect no hookups. The current is stronger than it looks, so wear a life jacket if you get in.
Tip: Watch climbers on Wall Street while dinner cooks.
