Botts is a small Forest Service loop rather than a destination campground, and that is most of the appeal. No host lives on site, so the staff you can flag down are at the neighboring campgrounds up and down the road, which means arriving self-sufficient is the plan. Facilities stay simple, just vault toilets and potable water. Quiet hours run 10 pm to 8 am and, on a loop this small, they tend to hold.
Tip: Pair with an evening bobber session on the lily pads.
