Fish Lake has several campgrounds, and Bowery is the one with the most infrastructure: flush toilets, drinking water, and paved roads and parking spurs, which all matter when you are living at nearly 9,000 feet for a week. The lake sits a short walk below the campground and across the road, so you reach shore without moving the car. Aspen and cottonwood shade the sites, and the water below covers 2,500 acres, the largest natural mountain lake in Utah.
