Most of the camping around Moab sits near 4,000 feet, down in the canyon heat. This one sits at 5,900 on the rim, which takes the edge off summer nights, and it comes with power at the site, something you rarely get on public land out here. The park was certified an International Dark Sky Park in 2016, and with Moab more than 30 miles off, the stars hold up. Plan your supplies before you turn off the highway.
Tip: Ride the Intrepid MTB trails straight from your site.
