Nights run cold up here - pack warm layers even in July.
North is the Bryce campground that stays open when the snow comes, which is the main thing separating it from Sunset. Four loops: A and B are paved and take RVs, C and D are gravel and limited to tents and small camper vans, and generators run only in A and B, so the tent loops stay quiet. Flush toilets and drinking water are on site, there are no hookups at any site, and the general store nearby has showers and laundry in the warm months.
Tip: Walk to Sunrise Point in the dark and watch the hoodoos ignite.
Out the tent door: Queen's Garden + Navajo Loop (Hike, 1 mi) · Peekaboo Loop (Hike, 1 mi) · Fairyland Loop (Hike, 1 mi) · Mossy Cave & Waterfall (Hike, 4 mi)
