Yuba is the warm-water outlier in a state full of cold mountain reservoirs, and Oasis is the unit that leans into it, with camping on sand rather than gravel pads under pines. At 5,000 feet it is one of the lower waters in central Utah, which is why swimming is a real activity here in midsummer instead of a dare. Booking runs through the Utah State Parks system rather than recreation.gov, so do not go looking for it on the federal site.
Tip: Walleye at dusk right off the beach in June.
