The horse setup is what separates Whiting from the other Wasatch Front camps. Three sites have hitching racks, though trailers park in a designated area about a mile away instead of at your site, so plan the unload. Two group sites on cement pads take up to 100 and 200 people. At 5,400 feet it opens earlier and closes later than the high camps, and there is no water on site, so bring it all.
Tip: Blazing red maples in early October.
