Electric Lake is a shore fisher's water. There is no need for a boat, and cutthroat and tiger trout cruise close enough to the bank that a small spoon or a tube jig covers most of what you need. The setting is Skyline Drive high country, so mornings are cold well into summer. Worth knowing for the drive out: the Right Fork of Huntington Creek below the dam is artificial flies only with a two-trout limit, so the rules change once you leave the lake.
