The park sits at 5,800 feet, and the sandstone stacked around it records roughly 180 million years of layering. Three campgrounds, Arch, Basin and Bryce View, plus huts and bunkhouses, mean you can stay here without hauling a tent. Give yourself an extra hour for Grosvenor Arch, a double arch about ten miles southeast.
