This is the one Utah fish where the rule and the fishing are the same story. The statewide limit is a single tiger muskie over 40 inches, so nearly every fish you touch goes back, and at Pineview the water is closed to keeping them year-round. The upside is size, and the state record of 33 pounds 9 ounces and 49 inches came from Pineview in 2006. Bring long pliers and a net big enough to hold the fish in the water while you work.
