Camping inside Arches changes the park more than people expect, since Devils Garden sits at the far end of the park road and you skip that drive twice a day. It is fully paved with a host on site, flush toilets, and drinking water, but there are no hookups, no showers, and no dump station anywhere in the park, so sort your tanks out in Moab. Generators run 8 to 10 in the morning and 4 to 8 in the evening, and firewood is sold at the visitor center rather than in camp.
Tip: Hardest reservation in Utah. Set an alarm for the 6-month window.
Out the tent door: Devils Garden to Landscape Arch (Hike, 1 mi) · Sand Dune Arch (Hike, 3 mi) · Fiery Furnace (Hike, 3 mi) · Delicate Arch (Hike, 6 mi)
