Why Hike This
Plenty of Utah arches make you earn the view. This one hands it over on a hard-packed, nearly flat path that a five-year-old can manage, and the payoff is a rock ribbon so long and so thin it looks structurally impossible. The Park Service says Landscape Arch still hangs on by a very thin thread, which is why you look from the trail instead of walking underneath. Keep going toward Double O Arch and the route changes character completely, with climbing on sandstone fins and narrow ledges above drop-offs.

306 ft Landscape Arch - one of the longest spans on Earth. Continue to Double O if you're feeling spicy.
Heat note: desert country - in summer start at dawn and carry more water than feels reasonable.
