What you are paying for here is position on the tailwater, not the view from your tent. The setting is rolling high desert near the reservoir, with boat launches and day-use areas close by, so it works as a base for both river and lake days. Facilities are straightforward: paved parking spurs, vault toilets and potable water. Outside the reservation season, sites go first come, first served.
Tip: Float Little Hole to Browns Park or wade the evening rise.
