Hope is a ridge-shelf camp rather than a creek-bottom one, which is unusual on this stretch of the Wasatch. Getting up there means Squaw Peak Road, paved from Provo Canyon but narrow, steep, and winding, so a vehicle and trailer over 30 feet is not recommended. There is no water on site, so haul in everything you plan to drink. Vault toilets, no hookups, and a mix of reservable and first come sites.
Tip: Sunset over Utah Lake from camp is the whole show.
