Two very different crowds end up here, and the campground serves both because the boat ramp sits inside it. You can launch without driving anywhere first, which is rarer than it sounds on Utah reservoirs. The setting is juniper, pinyon and sagebrush rather than timber, so shade is a site-by-site question, and several spurs look out over the water. Roads and parking spurs are paved, with vault toilets and drinking water on site.
Tip: Climbers by day, jigging for splake at dusk.
