Cat kit: 2/0 circle hooks + liver after dark.
Emery County is trout country, so a genuinely warm reservoir holding bass, bluegill and channel catfish is the odd one out, and that is exactly why it is useful in July when the mountain lakes go slow. The state park calls it out for waterskiing as much as fishing, so expect boat wake in the afternoon and plan your session for early or late. Kids do well here even when the fish do not, because the crawdad hunting along the rocks is reliable.
