Most Flaming Gorge camps sit back in the pines. This one puts you out on the ridge itself, and the outer loop sites are the ones with the long views. It is a fully developed camp, so you get paved spurs, potable water, vault toilets through the loops, and a flush restroom with showers up by the entrance. The campground host sells firewood, so you can show up without a trunk full of it.
Tip: Closest camp to Cedar Springs marina and the kokanee grounds.
