Most Utah campgrounds that sit beside an alpine lake make you hike in. This one you drive to, about 19 miles east of Logan off the canyon highway, and the lake is right at the end of the road. A self-guided nature trail circles the shoreline, and the Mount Naomi Wilderness trails leave from the same spot, including the 4.5 mile walk to White Pine Lake. Toilets are a mix of vault and flush, and the concessionaire takes bookings through recreation.gov.
Tip: Books out fast for July wildflower season. Cold nights even in August.
