There is not much open swimming water in Cache Valley, which is part of why this one gets busy. The park is about 20 minutes from downtown Logan, so it works as the local beach more than a destination. The campground is small, 32 sites plus two cabins and a group site, with one boat ramp and a fish cleaning station near the main entrance. The fishery is mixed rather than trout-only: bass, perch, bluegill, trout, and wipers, which the state stocked starting in 2024.
