Most Utah state parks are one thing. This one wraps Midway in a preserve big enough to hold two golf courses, a full campground, historic farm ground at Huber Grove and the Tate Barn, and Soldier Hollow, which hosted events at the 2002 Winter Olympics. Camping closes for the winter, but the park does not: Soldier Hollow keeps going with cross-country skiing, tubing and biathlon. Little Deer Creek is the small campground, with sixteen tent sites and one group site.
Do this: Golf (36 holes), hiking, camping, winter snowmobiling & cross-country ski
Family note: Deer everywhere; huge campground
